Soundcloud account // internet files direct link

Direct link to the Soundcloud account, e.g. ability to use Soundcloud files as if on the local machine. Maybe Live could provide a system to store and use files online, using an FTP account, or plain HTTP access. Store the files in the cloud and all the band can have access to the files no matter where we play.

Some Soundcloud integration has been announced already and is currently in development.

This is what I got from Ableton Customer Care:

There are no plans for such a collaboration. We are however working a concept known as Share, which we hope to have available sometime in the future.

I've been using Live since version 1, and I really want it to survive while cloud sequencing is taking off...

Perhaps this isnt to the extent you are after, but initial integration is planned/being worked on - which can only lead to further developments imo.

Yeah I saw that announcement on Soundcloud too, but the e-mail from Ableton denies it.
We'll have to wait to see I guess...

Soundcloud is nice but a Live integration seems useless for me. i still waiting for the share function since live 8 is released
