Media files are missing, please click here to learn more

I'm missing all of my session drums for some reason. I have no idea why. Recently updated to 8.1.3 and this is the first time I've tried using them since but why would Live be looking for them in a different location to before? Any help appreciated.

Choose 'manage files' from the file menu. A window appears on the right side named 'file management'. Click on the 'manage set' button. Then click on the 'locate' button under where it says Missing files x no of files in this project are missing. Then click on the underlined 'Tell me more'. Ableton explains how it searches automatically or you can repair manually by drag and drop'.

Don't worry the files will be on yr machine somewhere just locate them in the finder on the left and then drag them across to the missing file locations in the file manager on the right.

Good luck.

Alternatively, in the File Manager dialog under "Manage Set / Missing Files", you can point to the folder that contains the samples (any folder above the actual samples is fine), and then click the button that tells Live to search for them automatically. It will link them up and you'll be all set.
