radium 61 - how to set sliders and knobs
HI all,
I just bought a radium 61 to use with Live, I'm on Mac os 10.
the keyboard works fine - I can get it to play but I can't set the sliders or knobs. I know you click the top right midi button to set the controllers, but it doesn't seem to see any of the sliders or knobs when I move them. It seems it's not recongnizing them at all.
Please help.

If your keys are working, then you probably have the Radium selected in Options > Preferences > Midi/Sync > Active Devices > Input, right?
Just down below the Active Devices field there is another called Remote Control. Select the Radium in this Input field as well and all should be sweet...

Thank you Pitch Black, I got it to see them now.
So here's my nrew problem: I assign a knob to a control on the simpler, but when I move the knob, the simpler control jumps around like crazy! what's up?
something with the MIDI signal that the keyboard is sending? but I have no idea what it should be sending.
Thanks,

Sounds like you eithr have a dodgy Radium OR possibly two of the Radium's controls are set to transmit the same MIDI Control no. Check the Radium manual how to assign each knob and slider to a different MIDI controller no.
Does the problem occur when you try assigning a different knob to the same Simpler parameter?
What happens sometimes with cheaper kbds is the knobs have "jitter" which means they quietly transmit MIDI even when they are'nt being touched (rather like a noisy volume fader). If this is the case and two knobs are set to the same control no. one might be "fighting" the other which could explain your problem.
