Disabling the APC40 Scene Launch buttons

Post by tomoram » Sat Jun 26, 2010 10:22 pm

I've built a patch which overrides the functionality of the Scene Launch buttons but I can work out how to stop the Scene Launch buttons from performing their default functionality. I think I need to set their ids to 0 but I can't find the method to call or the obejct to call it on.

I know you can call things like set_metrome_button id 0 on the Transport component but I can't find a similar function for scene launch buttons in the Session_Control component.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks.

what i know is: you have to "call set_enabled 1" the session_control (or was ist session_overview?) component - but that deactivate a few other things to...!

Don't say i don't do nothing for you.....!!

If you look in my isotonik device the p disabler object does much of what you're looking for but i've isolated below just the scene launch buttons disabling, of course this is permanent unless you send the live.object's the corresponding id to turn them back on....

Cheers
