any users with any feedback on how they are compared to an apc also do you need m4l to use either one thanks

I use both and they work ....as good as the APC. Both have support for Live (through a max patch)so it won't work out of the box similar to APC , but once you set it up (easily done) its a no brainer.

The pads have a better feel and the units have a nice feel about them when compared to the APC. Rotary encoders would have been preferable, but its not a drawback.
