i like the idea of an envelope generator....
but I also really like the idea of using clips' amplitude as envelopes! perhaps there would be a way of "importing" a waveform for the envelope from a clip in your mockup?
i would love that. the special thing about using clips is that you could actually apply effects to the clips whose amplitude is being used as an envelope. Imagine applying reverb to a sound that is both playing audibly as normal, and being enveloped by itself!!!! i'm not even sure it's possible, but it would be fun.

What would also be cool is a "freeze wave" that allows you to grab the 2 LFO resulting waveform at a point and keep it.Poster wrote:Well to be exact; the shapes are the lfo's..

The really interesting part is when you can mix 2 lfo's with different speeds, shapes, etc... the outcome can be very complex..
Also, I second the motion for an envelope follower! Route audio into it, and then watch out!
Lastly, on the picture you have up there, what's the depth control? Can I assume that it's that the "level" knob?

Yep.. 'level' is 'depth', like -64/+63.. would be interesting if it were independent though.. having 2 knobs, for - and + ...montrealbreaks wrote:What would also be cool is a "freeze wave" that allows you to grab the 2 LFO resulting waveform at a point and keep it.Poster wrote:Well to be exact; the shapes are the lfo's..

I second the enveloppe follower.. reason' got one... bit tricky, but very nice feature..
oh, you bastard.
(as in, i want that)
one thing i'm not sure if anyone has tried is routing audio through automat ( www.alphakanal.de ) (sorry windows users, au only) for envelope (adsr or drawable) /lfo control via midi over volume. come to think of it, i should post this technique in the tips and tricks section ->

Modulators is in my top 3 requests!
We for sure need assignable modulators but a couple of notes:
- Need to be able to assign to more than one target.
- Need audio input triggered envelope follower
- Need an envelope (like in a clip) to multi targets
- Each target should get an amount and an offset
The NI team did a good job with the modulators in FM8, Massive and Guitar rig. Here is a picture from Guitar rig:

hello poster,
that's actually something i'd like to use too, specially a variety of s+h-waveforms!
that would give us the chance to add a lot more >controlled random< to our music creaton possibillities...
the only thing i am still concerned about is the routing:
you had the idea of using kind of a dropdown for direction. but all of the possible routing directions listed there cant´t be the way, and it would be a flexibility limit in addition...
so, i need to think again...
cheers,
STJ
