Yes a tough one for het nederlands elftal, but their best chance in a long time with good team unity for a change. (But is that because all of their superstars have gone?)

I think you deserve a day off. You've worked hard, treat yourself. Go blow some vuvu with your compatriots.

I shall continue to work in your honour.

8O now that would be interesting.. for which reason I'm still not sure..

yeah.. to the pub it is..

funny thing is I watched the first match on the web..
little did I know those streams have a delay of about 30 seconds..
so at each goal the whole city burst into cheer while on my screen the ball wasn't even near a goal..

I've always supported the Netherlands, but it means even more to me to see Brazil beaten.

Fabiano: "Wine and dine???! I thought you said whine and dive!"

It's amazing that the Dutch didn't get at least one more goal towards the end there, but the same could be said for Brazil:
the Dutch defence was wide open, and I'm really surprised the Brazilians didn't use their superior speed more.
All right: who's up for a 1978 rematch? :D

Well done Netherlands - after a poor first half, a better second half and in the end you deserved the win.

Brazil - you showed a total lack of discipline and immaturity, you were cruising at 1-0 but then at 1-1 you allowed yourselves to get flustered and petulant and in the end got what you deserved. Even at 2-1 down with 26 mins to play, clear your head, get some possession get your poise back and there's a fair chance you will create some chances to level. Instead, you get a player who stamps on an opponent and puts you down to 10, the game was pretty much over barring something really special then.

Dunga and Robinho were crying and whining all game at every decision that went against Brazil.
