a shortcut key for deactivate/activate notes!

it would be awsome if i could press a keyboard shortcut to silence notes in midi

well you could route your midi individually and use scale devices to filter the notes and then map the mute button to a key...

Why don't you just slice the piece of clip that has the notes in it you want to mute and right click it and choose "deactivate clip" ?

Yeah thats what I was thinking.

I'm all for anyone's time-saving ideas, but wondered about the relevance of this. Unless the OP means to deactivate all MIDI everywhere in the project? Trying to think why you'd want that... not that there isn't a scenario!
