Retrigger AND Random Once Feature?

I love using the Random Once feature on the Arpeggiator, however I like the phrase (or sequence) to be an even length (i.e. 1 bar, 1/2 bar, etc.). To achieve this, I set up a Chord plugin that has the correct number of notes to complete a phrase.

Now I discovered the Retrigger option on the Arpeggiator, which is great because I don't have to be so specific with the Chord settings. The phrase will simply repeat at the correct beat count. However, every time I Retrigger with the Random Once option, a new phrase is generated with every Retrigger.

Is there a way to use BOTH the Retrigger and Random Once options so I can repeat the same phrase over and over again?

I understand that this might defeat the very purpose of the Retrigger option, however it would be nice to create a random phrase that repeats at an even duration (i.e. 1 bar, 1/2 bar, etc.).

I'm sorry if my reply isn't what you're expecting but.........

If you want RANDOM to be triggered in a NON-RANDOM way then I am confused.

It's a bit of a paradox really.

Please feel free to educate me as I have severe problems using arps in a convincing way.

The Random Once feature will basically repeat one random phrase indefinitely. So while the the phrase itself is random, the Arpeggiator repeats that same exact phrase over and over again. Random phrase, Non-random repeats.
