startup en intializing time version 4.0.1....18 seconds
startup en intializing time version 4.1.2....62 seconds...HUH

ouch..
do you have antivirus sw turned on?
does it help if you disable it?

The problem is 4.1.2 because 4.0.1 is starting up okay and fast.

a strange thing that happened with 4 was that 4.1 showed 72mb in my add/remove programs list, but 4.1.1 showed--no joke--30 000 (rounded off) mb; installed 4.1.2 and then removed 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 is back to around 72, but yep, the startup for 4.1.2 is slower for me for this than 4.1.1
