FULL VST MIDI COMMUNICATION

Hi,

I NEVER posted any feature request, since I'm using live 6, then 7, since, well, 3 or 4 years now.

But since I'm using NI Maschine, I discovered one MAJOR MISSING FEATURE within Live:


Live can't receive more than ONE midi channel from a VST...

with maschine we need full multichannel midi communication between host and VST...

and any trick with virtual midi routers won't even allow to hijack this problem...


PLEASE ABLETON!!!!!!!!

and, make it free and available for live 6, 7 and 8 users!

that would be really great, and would prevent new maschine users from getting rid of live...

I've noticed a similar problem which I posted about yesterday (I was having trouble using EZPlayer pro, where I tried to output the different drums to different midi channels and noticed the "all or nothing" approach - ie you can only receive all midi channels or none at all without being able to select a single channel).

Surely this should be simple enough for Ableton developers to update?

Any other workarounds would be welcome too.
