When the UC-33 is plugged in via usb to my mac, I am getting a signal in the right top corner on my Ableton screen, but cannot assign anything!

Just got a new UC-33 midi controller and trying to set it up with my Ableton 7 on mac.

maybe this is stupid, but...
have you tried to select the preset n°33 on your UC33?
have you installed the last drivers?
do the problem happens only with the knobs or also with the faders?
BTW, my UC33 works fine wth all the presets... you are describing a really strange behaviour.

Hi,
Do you have track in and remote in enabled for the UC-33 in Live's MIDI preferences?
Have you tried resetting the UC-33? (think it's something like the + and - keys while powering up, it's in the manual somewhere)

I just tried resetting the UC-33 ... but still having the same problem...
The problem is happening with both knobs and faders.
I am trying to select#33 on the uc-33 but I dont even know if I am doing right... well now when I press program on the midi controller, 33 is showing, so I guess I did that right.
