Also, 60000 / BPM to get a quarter note in ms is so incredibly helpful. Always tried to do that by ear...
Yeah nice one :) Im glad that has helped. I know a few more formula's actually. Maybe i'll do some more tutorials on them :)

Cheers,
Bill.

Just checked out a couple and am very impressed...thanks Mr Bill. Will be watching through these with great interest and have already managed to learn some things I'd never come across in Live before.

As for the delivery of the tutorials, I found the pace fine. And to the guy who mentioned your voice (and not capturing interest), it's the content that matters at the end of the day. Would you rather have a charismatic, exciting guy telling you how to add a midi channel and change the global tempo, or somebody slightly less energetic talking about some real original techniques that some of us may not have seen before?

1. these tuts are not too fast at all.

2. I guess Mr. Bill's voice might have bothered me if I was trying to look clever or had ADD and wasn't watching the tuts. :D

3. Went in with an open mind even on tuts I had no inclination to learn for myself and still picked up some great workflow tips and timesavers. Thanks, Mr. Bill.

*My ONLY complaint is that it would be cool if the levels between Mr. Bill talking (quiet) and the ableton action (OMG loud if you adjust for Mr Bill's quiet) could stand to be a bit more even.

Evidence of inspiring material right there. Mr. Bill is doing something right, if that happens. :)

I don't mind the pace of delivery at all, though it might benefit further videos if Bill can record them a little louder and clearer. I'd be nice if more of the vids could be downloaded, too. But overall, great stuff.

Thanks guys :)

Ive taken the levels in to account and if you check out my new one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSOqqmnbgZM I think i got them pretty even this time :) Sorry about the earlier ones! I was still working out how to use screenflow at that point and just wanted to get the information out there.
This tutorial is kind of based on my first and most popular one (using maths to calculate delay times) this time I show you the formula to working out synced rates on LFO's in hz so you can seamlessly move between musical values without having to submit to them.

Thanks for your support!

Cheers,
Bill.

It's funny- I hadn't used the delay formula since whenever everything went bpm friendly... WHAT WAS I THINKING? Bring on the formula tuts!!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSOqqmnbgZM This one i posted in my last post uses a formula to calculate hz on LFO rates :) Its a good one for dubstep basslines!

Hehe...no stalking, I've just watched the tut. You left the "note-widget" open in the tutorial video... Maybe you wanna cut that out ;-)
