Selecting multiple tracks to mute/ solo

Post by Likewise » Tue Jul 20, 2010 6:06 am

Alright this should be rather simple ...I'm hoping

I come from a Pro Tools background and often use a keyboard function (holding down the "option" key and clicking a mute on one track ) to mute all tracks, if I click it again whilst holding the option key all tracks are unmuted. So I guess it can be said that this serves as a temporary grouping of all tracks when it comes to the muting and soloing functions.

Does Serato have a key shortcut like this ?

Thanks

Assuming that you refer to Live and not to Serato, and provided that you use Live 8, you can mute multiple tracks at once by selecting them first and then clicking the mute button on any of the selected tracks.

This will also work for solo, track volume, pan, sends, etc.
