i know Robert Henke posted something a while ago on his own website(www.monolake.de),and that it would be available soon for a small fee from the Ableton website.nothing yet though................
it's not on his site anymore,but sure as helllsounded awesome.

Thanks for the reply! I already downloaded the prototype of that one but it is more sample manipulation than an actual granular synth. It will be interesting to see where it goes though

there's a fair bit of stuff for max/msp proper out there,
you may have to "convert " it though

Thanks! I'm still learning Max at the moment - and unfortunately I'm a slow learner with this. Still at the very beginner stages so I think a granular synth might be beyond me. A goal for the future though...

Wow - thanks! I'm a little embarrassed to ask as I know this will show just how new I am to Max, but how do I turn the code above into a patch?

Select & Copy into clipboard what zlatko posted including the

----------begin_max5_patcher----------

----------end_max5_patcher----------

If you don't see a max window open, drag an m4l default device and press the edit button.

On the Max window that will open, select File --> New from clipboard

Now you should be able to save it as an effect.

Zlatko can you please help on the following errors I see logged when creating this patch?
poly~: no patcher sineStream
poly~: jpatchline_new: index out of range
jpatchline_plugin: box missing outlet number 2

Thanks very much - I've seen these patches on threads before and never knew what to do with them. I'm desperately trying to learn Max language but nothing seems to stick. Just bloody thick I guess.
