warping changes in BPM in ableton 7 (or 8)

Post by wombcorps » Wed Jul 21, 2010 3:51 pm

hey all, have loads of tracks i want to warp up to play out but they contain changes in bpm and ive got no idea how to warp these, is there a way to set a change in bpm in ableton 7? and how so?

i also have ableton 8 on my laptop, but warp in 7 as im slowly transferring over to 8. if its not possible in 7, then i could do it in 8 but would need an explanation :)

thanks for your help!

just realised there wasnt enuff detail there.

when i say bpm changes i mean like a track at 180 breaking down to 140 then back...not just minor ones you can 'warp' out.

i know you can automate the bpm in the master channel when making a track but this wouldnt be suitable, as i have a warping page with over 300tracks on it that i need to warp to use in sets etc...
