Hope this will be the last issue.
Pretty simple to explain: in Live 6, the limits of BPM (Tempo) were 20.00 > x > 200.00 (if I'm not wrong), meaning that the minimum warp speed was 20 BPM and maximum was 200.
In this past situation, I used to bind a slider of my Evolution UC-33E to set the tempo.
So it was easy to set it and raise from 130 to 131, 131 to 132 and so on.
Now in Live 7 the minimum is 20.00 and the max is 999.99, and this is causing big troubles to me: in fact, when moving the slider it raises from 130.00 to 140.00 . Following this example, I am unable to set tempo to 135.00 .
How do I set the tempo and the sliders in a less sensitive way?

Hi, in the midi mapping browser you can type in the upper and lower limits for each mapping.

Re: [Live 7 and MIDI mapping] Knobs/faders are too sensitive
Thanks for all your tips 8 O !
Most things seem OK now. However, there is one more "cosmetic glitch" that is very annoying.
It first happened when I MIDI-mapped the knobs and faders of my UC-33E to the His, Mids, Lows, and Volumes.
I am not an experienced user and I make use of very few things of Live.
This cosmetic glitch is not very simple to explain. Let's assume I just MIDI-mapped a knob in EQ Three.
I move the knob, but... nothing changes. EQ Three is stuck to 0.00 dB .
While this happens, in the lower part of Live something like "EQ Three - Low is awaiting pickup" is displayed.
That's the matter: I have to move the knob/slider 'til the end. ONLY AFTER moving it to the end point and setting it to 6.00 dB (the maximum I have set), it "activates" and can go under 6.00 dB.
What the heck ???

Check the Midi Takeover mode - it's described in the manual and can be set in Prefs-> Midi
