Villalobos hating on Ableton

Given that they've hardly banned anyone ever from the forums in 10 years tells you a lot about those who have had this dubious 'badge of honour' bestowed upon them. Ableton's opinion is the only relevant one as far as I'm concerned on the topic, and I am glad we can express opinions regardless of whether it's agreeable or not, 99.9% of the time without intervention.

It says more about the queens making the requests, if you ask me. Especially if it's the same core of protagonists involved. Surely if someone really is 'bad' it would be obvious to all & sundry, not just the exact same queens all of the time.

I bought a Live intro cause I was curious to make a track with electronical music.

I like the program very much. If anybody sais there is a certain sound to it, then I can agree, cause that is what I hear too, but I think that is inherent to the audio effects. They produce certain sounds.

Anyways, I made a lot of Live sets, with an as wide as possible variety of sounds.

First I have to paint my studio, then I have to get back 900 euros that I've lent to my cousin, then I have to buy some monitors, and then I can start to bounce the tracks.

Then I will map the samples in Kontakt, so I can play them in Cubase.

There might be a result by the end of next year.

About Villalobos, I had hardly heard of him before I went on this forum.

I think he is a great artist, respect to him.

I also think there is some envy cause he is succesfull while other people are not.

@ SubFunk bro... just off the top of my head I can remember him posting about strange counts... he pointed out a few songs by Soundgarden and others that were played in those counts etc. I can understand that you're not a fan of the guy, but don't you think you're being a little harsh?

let me put it this way: if i visit my favourite restaurant since years and suddenly the owner decides to change the chef and the food starts to suck, i will complain as much as i can in order to get a decent chef back to be able to enjoy a nice meal again in my favourite joint.

and i will not stop calling for a new chef, i don't care if i am on my own on that or not. (because i don't care if others except mediocre meals, i don't)
