PS3 or XBOX360 ????
Re: PS3 or XBOX360 ????
Demon's souls isn't 'that' hard. It just takes some patience. It's only hard if you go in running full on to each battle w/ out a strategy. If it intrigues you at all I'd say at least give it a rental. Also, they have a free wiki out there that makes it A LOT easier. This is the only game I've ever owned that I have the urge to get all the trophies for.

Re: PS3 or XBOX360 ????
thanks mates, yup then, demonsouls is now on my wish list,
but I've some other games to play and finish before,
1) deadspace (just on level 3)
2) god of war 2
3) Metal gear 4
4) uncharted 1
5) killzone 2
6) resistance 2
7) uncharted 2
god of war 3
etc
etc
then
15) demon souls
hope I'll then be enough pro with the joypad and 3D games to be able to master this terrible game

Re: PS3 or XBOX360 ????
I own a Red 360 Elite that my brother gave me. That being said, I would never buy one, even though a few of my favorite games are 360 exclusives (Mass Effect series, Left 4 Dead Series, Condemned, etc...)
What I like about the 360:
-The controller is way more comfortable for me than the PS3's
-The exclusive titles.
-Some Backwards compatibility
What I like about the PS3:
-Free online play
-Web browser
-Being able to watch Netflix without an extra subscription (on 360 you cant watch Netflix -without also having an Xbox Live Gold membership)
-Exclusive titles (Uncharted series, God of War series, Ratchet & Clank series, Killzone series, etc...)
-The way PS3 handles Trophies is much better and more enjoyable than its competitors achievements.
-The hardware feels more stable, doesn't eat disks, and has less over heating problems.

Re: PS3 or XBOX360 ????
Japan and Singapore have confirmed two new models of the PS3 slim: 160GB available in black and white, and the 320GB in black only. These also have a lower price than current slim models (around $299 and $349 USD), so here is hoping there will be a price drop later this year if these new models are released anywhere else.

Re: PS3 or XBOX360 ????
I begin to notice all games have these "trophies", saved during the game progress (I noticed in god of war 1 and deadspace)
what's the point?
is that something then useful in multi mode?
thanks

I don't know if there actually worth anything, but they are fun and challenging goals within the game that can add a lot of replay value to an otherwise straight forward game. Like the two you mentioned.supamonsta wrote:I begin to notice all games have these "trophies", saved during the game progress (I noticed in god of war 1 and deadspace)

Re: PS3 or XBOX360 ????
i just did me a ps3, and i have to say its the way to go, sony has there shit down, also with a single 8core processor compared to the 360's 3 separate ones.
as for a post above im opposite, the xbox controller is way more uncomfortable then the ps3, ive played 12+ hours without any problems.
Plus with the 360 you have a chance of getting the red screen of death, similar to the blue one on pc's but once you get it apparently its done, as the ps3 doesnt really have any bugs im aware of, or as a friend told me before i made me purchase.
so yeah, ps3 will love you long time.

Re: PS3 or XBOX360 ????
yes,
I'm already loving the ps3, hardware, system, instant wifi connexion, controllers, and... games
I got little questions :
1) about the Trophies : how do you know if you got all of them, is there a list to read somewhere for each game?
2) got Tekken 6, and I'm annoyed by the time to load before each fight, and even between menu screens... I noticed the game has the option to be installed on the HD, will this operation shorten the loading times of the game??
3) How can you guys finish games like God of war or deadspace in hard or "super hard" modes?????

I guess controller is always gonna be preference. My favorite controller was the Logitech wireless controller for PS2, I really wish Sony would have gone for this style with PS3Bleep Blop Ima Robot wrote:i just did me a ps3, and i have to say its the way to go, sony has there shit down, also with a single 8core processor compared to the 360's 3 separate ones.

Also, it's the red RINGS of death, not screen, and while it doesn't kill your system, its pretty frickin inconvenient.
But overall I'd still have to say PS3 is king, they've come a long way from this,

which was the general opinion until the slim dropped.
Oh and second Arkham Asylum, ridiculously awesome.
