Save recording and posting
Hey guys, I have been using ableton for a lil while, my set up consist ofa novation SL49,Launchpad,M-audio monitors connected to my PC...anyway I've got some tracks I made that I want to record and post so that I can get some feedbacks on how to improve them etc...I know that once they are recorded, i need to convert them in an audio format (to listen on MP3,PC etc).Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Re: Save recording and posting
You need to get them hosted somewhere. Soundcloud is a popular choice. Then just post as a link in your 'check out my music!' thread.

soundcloud or bandcamp allow you to post .wav files so no conversion is required - if you have some terrible internet plan with limited bandwidth and penalties, then yes you will need to convert to mp3 (320 Kbps mp3 is about 1/5th the size of a .wav file but still good quality).
Use Itunes, or some other converter such as CD-EX (PC freeware) or Lame encoder etc to rip .wav/ to mp3
Read the Live manual for details on how to export and the options available, in the Live 7 manual these are pages 43-48 (not sure about Live 8 ).
