dell studio 15, was on special for 700$(can) + I had some sort of virtual coupon.

with 4 gigs of ram and 7200 rpm, this is for gigging only, I have a more powerful computer for producing.

runs smoothly, I'm pretty happy with the product for the price.

Yeah I have a dedicated computer for internet.

Although I must say on the studio PC the internet is available, but I only check my gmail and the ableton forum and never had a virus or spyware problem with it.

If you stay away from pr0n and download sites the virus risk factor is considerably lowered.
