Ok here we go. Catch me if you can. I recorded 8 songs for a record I am doing on an old Dell laptop. Well I just bought a new computer. Put the same software on the new computer. All of my work was saved on my external hard drive. So I open up an old session that was recorded on a previous computer. If I make any changes Ableton asks me if I want to save my changes. Of course I want to save my changes why else would I make the change if I didn't want it saved lol! So I click yes and then an error pops up saying there was an error when saving said file. Anyone know what could potentially be wrong here?
Thanks,
Jason

Re: Not able to save with 8.1.3...
Hi Jason,
firstly, could you please update to the latest version of Live? (http://www.ableton.com/latest_versions)
If you are still having problems after updating it would be good if you could provide us with some more information by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. It would be especially helpful if you sent us a screenshot of the error message that pops up.
Is saving only not possible for you when using an external harddrive or is it a general problem? Please, don't forget to mention which specific hardware and operating system you are using.
Best regards,
Philipp
