mono and stereo
mono and stereo
just after finishing mixing my track and wanna have some things panned and some things mono, is their anyway i can do that on abelton? cause u cant mono/stereo sounds individually. u only have choice of either one.
Re: mono and stereo
I am unsure as to what you are asking. What do you mean that you can't mono/stereo sounds individually in Live? Why can't you use panning on each track?

Re: mono and stereo
So you'd still call that stereo because theres a left and right channel, yet they're identical which makes them technically mono - ought to be a name for that, eh? probably is..Tone Deft wrote:^ if left and right are IDENTICAL it is.
Re: mono and stereo
yeah, it's a bit of a mindf--k. we've been over this on the forum when Henke used to chime in.
mono by definition means one. but does that mean you can't play a mono signal out of a stereo? what if you listen to a mono song on headphones? at what point in the signal chain can you not split up the signal to make it mono?
