Hello all,
I am throwing this out to the community looking for constructive criticism / input.
I missed the studio/sexy cat thread, but there are a few of the 11 cats that have claimed us hanging out on their own page.
Anyway, have a look around. http://www.insidetheoutpost.com Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks,Rand

At first I was thinking the same thing. I would say you're almost ready for prime time. You have a good layout. I'd work on underlying design (it has a very comic book feel. Which, if you're trying to get super heroes into your studio = WIN! If you're looking for everyday musicians you might want to change the underlying feel)nathannn wrote:whats that program on mac called that lets you create comic books?
I looked for a while to figure out *WHERE* this cool hideout was located. Then I found it. Might want a location link or map or something. I also noticed the left side descriptor bar needs some sizing help. It looks like below:
The beasts: pro
tools 8
ableton live
5 reason 3
Which could probably be fixed pretty easily.

sorry, but i think the site is ugly and amateurish.
also, the photos in general are poor. flat and dull with bad lighting. some even blurry. rather than feeling inviting, the images are like a random collection of poky corners.
i reckon you should find a photographer friend with a decent camera to help you out. you need some decent lighting and wide angle action so you can give a sense of being immersed in the space, not just peering into little poky corners here and there.
the site doesn't do justice to the vibe that you've got going on.

I think it's all right for it's purpose. But I think you need to put more emphasis on the gear available and specifications of your live room (how much space for the band, etc...), your list is hard to read. Aside from that, I can easily understand the vibe and type of clients you are interested in, and that you are a friendly person.
