Anything PARC invented that wasn't directly related to printing or copying Xerox didn't really care about or know what to do with.

We're located in Palo Alto let's call it "the ALTO" So there you go... a little history... PARC didn't invent the mouse but figured it would be a good idea to hook it up to a computer back in 1973 (Steve Jobs was only 18 years old then). So, if you like using a mouse on a computer you can send thanks to the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center.
and the made for tv movie was funny... they showed Jobs droppin' acid iirc.
