Quicktime 7

I cannot launch Live (or Reason Peak....iTunes!!) since I updated to QT 7. (on OS 10.3.9)
I have since reinstalled QT 6.5.2 and even reinstalled OS 10.3.9. Still no luck.
Anybody having the same issue.
I have tried all the obvious stuff.... prefs, repairing permissions, reinstalling my drivers etc.
G4 dual 1.25

I think my problem may be caused by QT 7, I cannot render, Live crashes every time. I've tried the latest version and previous versions of live, same problem.

I was finally able to get my sound apps to open when I used the Digidesign CoreAudio Setup app to remove the applications (Reason and Ableton Live) that wouldn't start up.

If you are using a Digi product and have installed the Digi Core Audio, this may be your problem!

unfortunatley QT7 is NOT fully compatable with 10.3.9

This is why apple released the reinstaller.

looks like they were too concentrated on Tiger and forgot about the panther guys on the Quicktime testline...
