UTAH

Let's get an UTAH Ableton Live thread going!
Who else is using this fucking amazing software?
What are you people doing with it? What MIDI controllers are you using? Do you make mixes? Do you play live? What software/computer are u using? Do you play live together with anyone else? Link your ableton made mixes!

This last summer I played at Pajama Jam @ SaltAir following up BassHunter, and I played trance off ableton rather than using serato + records, and I it worked! It worked real good too! The mixes were bomb. I also played out at Evo 09 in the desert; did some of my techno-hiphop-pop mashup off ableton.

I've had my Faderfox Ableton DJ controller for like 2 years now, which I ordered from Germany, and two weeks ago I just got my Novation Launchpad with 64 lightup launch buttons and such.

I also made my last two albums with ableton! I fit like 100 songs into 2 cds. Love it. Go download my newest one, Ouija @ http://www.dontbedapper.com

Right now I'm learning how to run the drum machines, synths, sequencers, and sound effects to make live techno.. That'll be really good.

There's a lot more uses for Ableton Live. What do other locals use it for?

I need some help learning Ableton. I'm having a hard time with the warping/beat matching tool. Any suggestions?

If anyone is interested, I play in an ableton-based live band in Salt Lake City, and we are playing tonight at Bar Deluxe. If you live in the area and want to check out how we use ableton on stage you should come by.
Show statrs at nine. Five bucks at the door. I dont really know anyone in Salt Lake who uses ableton and would love to talk to some people who do. You can hear some of our music on our Facebook page.
