Many times I find my self flipping between session and arrangement views because I want to change the order of the warp slices. Here's the scenario:
I have an audio clip playing in the session view. I want to reorder the sample - move the hhs or whatever. I have to record the clip into the session view, reorder, consolidate and then drag back to the session view - not great workflow.
I'd like to be able to rearrange a sample within the session clip view.
Sample editing in the session view

Yeah, I've encountered the same problem many times. Good idea.

Re: Sample editing in the session view
I encounter the same thing. Would be excellent to have the simplest editing of the clip available in session view. eg. select/cut/paste/duplicate/silence the selected part/reverse selected part. I know that you can open up a sample in an external editor like sound forge but this would be really great.

Excellent, glad i'm not the only one!

Totally +1000000000
We need to be able to cut, paste and copy inside the clips in session view.

ctrl + left/right = select transient
ctrl + shift + left/right = select between transients
ctrl + space = play selection
