Hi,
what OS do you have on your Mac?
Which exact versions of the Spectrasonics plugins do you have?
Have you used universal binary installers?
best,
dfi

Thanks for the reply.
I haven't used the universal binary installers. Not sure how that works. I'm running 10.5.8 Intel. Latest Spectrasonics plugin updates installed.

Try removing them from the VST/AU folder, rescanning in Live, add them back and rescan again.

Re: Spectrasonics plug-ins not showing up? (Mac)
Hello,
Are you sure they are UB (Universal Binary)?
Otherwise they won´t show up.
1. Open the folder where you have your plugin files installed in. On a Mac you have 2 system folder where plugins are usually installed by default:
Macintosh HD:/library/audio/plug-ins/VST (for VST Plugins)
Macintosh HD:/library/audio/plug-ins/components (for AU Plugins)
2. Locate the problematic plugin file and select it.
3. Press Apple+I to bring up the info view.
4. In the Info window's 'General' section, it will display the document type, either 'Universal' or 'PowerPC'. If this is a PowerPC file, it is not compatible with Intel Macs.
Best,
Christian

Re: Spectrasonics plug-ins not showing up? (Mac)
It says "PowerPC". If this is not compatible, then why does it open in my 3 other DAWs?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Spectrasonics plug-ins not showing up? (Mac)
I recived information on the Spectrasonics website
Will the Atmosphere/Trilogy plug-ins ever have true "Universal Binary" updates?
No, unfortunately this is not possible with the licensed engine. Instead, we have created new instruments from the ground up with our own STEAM engine, which incorporate all the sounds from the original Atmosphere and Trilogy instruments.
Omnisphere and Trilian, the successors to Atmosphere and Trilogy, are Universal Binary and run natively on Intel Mac machines. Atmosphere and Trilogy customers can upgrade to Omnisphere and Trilian.
I'll probably upgrade.
Thank you for your time.
