why does every single thread about DJing come back to the same few people hating on .. of all people .. sasha??
It doesn't have to be a Dj thread. Any thread here can turn into a sasha thread that quick (insert snapping finger noise here).
And it's not just here. My wife frequents a pet information/animal rescue site and believe it or not the same stuff happens there. One evening she was on her computer browsing her forum and I heard her mumbling something about Sasha. What the hell I thought..... low and behold a "Pictures of my new rescued shelter dog thread" had degenerated into a Sasha flame fest.
Apparently its a pretty common phenomena everywhere.
Coincidence or carefully coordinated marketing strategy?
You be the judge.......

thanks for the tip.
the fact that sometimes his stuff might not hang together live sounds cool. freeflowing improv with all your machines on stage really is where I hope things go next. it'll sort out the men from the mice. intricately preprepared sets are a bit boring compared to some guy throwing himself at the mercy of his knowledge of his gear and ability to steer things into unknown territory, while on stage.
perfectly prepared als files with rehearsed routes through them really aren't such a great leap from conventional dj'ing. bring on the Live anarchists!

Really makes Ableton & a laptop look like yesterday's technology.
