Gradual changes in Tempo from Scene to Scene?
Gradual changes in Tempo from Scene to Scene?
is there a way to fire a Scene in Session Mode
and have the Global Tempo change GRADUALLY and not instantly?
i can do this in Arrange drawing automation in the Master Track.
but how can i have Live make a less-than-instant Tempo change
Scene to Scene in Session?
(this would also help avoid glitches with large instant tempo changes in Session mode)
help me pleease?
thanks!

I don't think it is possible... We should have dummy clips for the master track...

Oh. Or you can use midi yoke or IAC bus for this.

thanks for the reply chapeller.
i SO agree that we should control scenes a little bit like Clips.
espeacially for artful tempo changes.
so this IAC/midiyoke solution would be to get a clip to shoot out a midi stream
that controls global tempo?
it sounds a little scary in a mission-critical, live situation to me...
it's odd that this can't be done in Scenes..
i suppose it's the next step after being able to program tempo into scenes....
too bad i need it now!

It's pretty stable mate, I use it for a huge range of remote control modulations. Can even record and playback remote control movements on the fly pretty easy.zloo wrote:thanks for the reply chapeller.
