Modified instant mapping for UC-33e

Post by 8O » Tue Aug 11, 2009 3:04 pm

Hi,

Just did a quick modification to the standard UC-33e instant mapping in Live.

No mackie emulation, no bomes or nothing, just a small, useful modification.

Original instant mapping:

So, the most common things I map are the Sends A & B for each track, so that's what I added to the instant mapping. Like the track volumes, the sends now follow the appropriate track as you add/remove tracks on the fly...

Get the custom mapping file here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5344114/UserConfiguration.txt

Nothing major, but thought I'd share it. Hope this is useful for someone! :D

Here it is again: http://rapidshare.com/files/411934096/U ... ration.txt

(will update the original post too)

File needs to be placed in <user>/Library/Preferences/Ableton/Live<version>/UserRemoteScripts/<new folder of your choice e.g. "UC-33e custom">/

Hi,

I've put it up on dropbox - hopefully it'll stay accessible there for longer - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5344114/UserConfiguration.txt

Thx! I will def try this out!

Is there a benefit do you think to not doing MackieControl/BCR-type stuff?

For me, I just wanted to keep the mapping real simple and for my old livesets, this amount of control was just fine.
