You talking about apps that mirror what's on your computer monitor? That's too much clicking around and menu diving and the refresh rate probably isn't currently up to snuff.
I'm sure once touch screens on computers become the norm people will quickly realize that simply running applications that weren't built specifically for touch screens isn't the fantasy working bonanza they had in their head.

I'm getting a little bored with these loop machine apps. The next level should be an app that lets you drag in entire songs from your iTunes library for mixing like DJ software.

Still wondering if NI will ever release some apps that are specific to their software. They are primarily a software development company so it wouldn't be that far of a stretch.
What I'd like to see:
Kore hardware emulator
Traktor DJ controller
Maschine - maybe, don't know how they'd handle velocity sensitive pads
Komplete controller - interfaces specific to each plug-in.
A lot on the plate there but any one of those would be cool.

iOS 4 already suppports apps accessing and importing directly from iTunes library. A few apps including DJ apps have already implemented this.

Sweet! If only these apps could send files to each other internally.
This would be a great sample editor for Nano Studio etc, on the road.

Hey guys, anyone know a good DJ app for iPhone?
Touch DJ is NOT working, nobody responds on their forum, nor do their support.
WinXP, 3Gs, iOS 4

Seems to be a lot of complaints about these DJ apps not being able to access the iTunes library, either partially or not at all.
This also made me realize how does one preview tracks without them being heard out the mains? Sure beat matching is becoming a dated skill but are we really taking it to the level that you don't even need to hear the incoming track at all, "it just works"?
