Ozonic dropout

Post by theofficials » Tue May 03, 2005 2:27 pm

Hey all.

Been playing with my new toy for just over a week now and I've experienced at least 2 'drop-outs' of the driver.

1st time was whilst playing a tune (about 24 tracks mix of midi/audio and VST + FX)

2nd time was when I was rendering to 24bit.

Advice would be much appreciated.

What are your laptop specs? Have you tried adjusting ASIO latency upward? What is loaded in your projects? I hate to sound like your aunt Tillie, but did you read the optimization section in the Live manual? Just checking. I for one am always overlooking the obvious.

I tried Ozonic AND the FW410 on my Dell Inspiron 9200 and neither worked at all. I ended up with the Presonus FireBox, which works wonderuffly so far.
