Copying Sounds from external Instruments

Hi. This is my first post, so bare with me please .
I have been using Live for DJing for a couple years and really want to start producing.
I have a Kawai Concert Pro Electric baby grand-piano and the microkorg xl for ext. instruments.
My question is...how do I dump the sounds from these instruments? If anyone could give me a detailed description
as to what to do it would be GREATLY appreciated. :mrgreen:

Do you mean dumping the preset into live?
If so, you can't! Live can send bank/program change from a clip, but it won't recieve or send sysex, which is what synths use to dump patch data.

its called recording a clip and you should have some time with the manual...

You will need to record the output of your synth into an audio track in Live.
