TouchAble - complete controller for Ableton Live & IPAD

TouchAble uses a smart installer to install touchAblescript on your midi remote scrip in Live folder and touchAble server on your computer. touchAble server helps you to setup your IP configuration and allows Keyboard and drumpad to work.

That sounds identical to the way LiveControl works.

Don't plan on getting an ipad till the next version but gotta say you two have done a great job.

I'm seen mu videos and have to say that you have something on par with lemur's ableton interface.

gonna out a very similar PC version soon (not for ipad, for PC touchscreens/tablets)
funny i went to quasi same layouts and functions, (but i didn't copied, my first version was out about 6 month ago ),
you can see V1 on the link below, however V2 is very close to touchable, with preload and XY inertia scrolling.
dare to share few osc/api tips?

do ya preload the grid first, or is it updating on the fly?
if ya preloas first, what do you use, block/single request or something else?
i had drop outs using blocs name, with liveOsc, found another solution but
curious, did ya made a different system?

Looks pretty awesome. I like the keyboard implementation. You what the keyboard needs though? A pitch bend/ modulation wheel. It could go where the velocity slider goes as an alternate use of that space. (I'd love be told it's already there though... ).

Excellent second video! The feature set looks nearly perfect. I can't wait to buy this! You guys are right up there with BlipInteractive (maker of the NanoStudio app) in pushing the envelope and raising the bar significantly for iDevice app design, features, and workflow!

I finally bought a LaunchPad not too long ago and this app will likely put it on the shelf for good. LOL.

impressive video, this app is deep!
One question: does it support only live native plugins
or it has an interface to support racks fx too (like 8 sliders/knobs)?

how is the touch sensitivity and accuracy on the Ipad/Touchable clip grid?


Is it better than an apc40? (apc40 is not touch sensitive and the travel on the buttons really provides a real world latency, which i hate)


For example, can it handle triggering rapid fire 1/8 quantize scene changes at 174 bpm? (thats what i ll be doing!)

I have found the Padkontrol best for this, but this looks so bloody good i have to know if it will be suitable.

Looks like a great product but

You have to tone down the graphics and colour scheme

That is seriously headache inducing.
