... works.

Apple make great products, premium price, but hey, that's added value & all that jazz.
What I don't like is that they have started to display the same sucky anti competitive bullshit behaviour that MS is famous for, closed standards, DRM can't do this can't do that etc. etc. NOT in the interest of the consumer.
Google is pushing open source, that's where my heart and my money is.

Think different.

Open source but then the people who sell your phone still try to screw you:

What are you talking about "started"? Apple's always been extremely closed source compared to MS...and that's part of the reason Apple's products are a lot more stable.

As far as the DRM thing, that wasn't Apple. That was the major music industry insisting on it and Apple thought it was stupid too. That has since stopped by the way.

Well the Aria is the only thing I've scene, that looks close, but its crippled by ATT. The Hero is the most horrible phone I've ever used, which is still in that size range. All the other one's have slide out keyboards, which is an instant recipe for doom in my experience.

Which brings up a question I've had for years, how com cell phone reviews never cover durability?
The build of quality of the 3GS was really laughable. My homie has the Moment and he's been through two of them, and besides the size of if the Evo 4 feels like it will crumble in your hand.

Apple is more stable than MS because they control the hardware, and they also clearly have better younger more forward thinking brains working for them.
But open source is the most stable! More people looking at the code = less bugs.

You'll have to either root your phone or wait for an OTA update.
