I loved being able to create loops by building them up and resampling, fx, warps and then simply drag the loop(clip) into a folder I have designated for my loops. I forget when it started but now Live always creates a project folder and sample folders and I don't want all that.
Anyway do disable that feature?
Anyway I can still drag and drop clips without sub folders?
Re: Anyway I can still drag and drop clips without sub folders?
Maybe I'm not explaining right but in session view I just wish to grab a clip or audio file and drag it to the browser and into a folder without it then creating a project folder and a few other sub folders?
I think this started with 7 but I have been using live since 4 and I used to be able to take a simple drum loop for example, add fx, play with warp markers, transpose, etc. and then simply resample it and then drag that audio clip to a folder with all my custom loops. It was a lot cleaner and simpler imho.
Is this gone now due to all the project folder stuff?
