Default Sample Loading Issue

Post by MOR01 » Wed Aug 18, 2010 3:23 am

Helllo,

A project from a few months ago is haunting me.
I apparently sliced a loop to a drum rack and I saved the samples in a way (how I did it I cannot recall) so that every time I try to drop the "Drum Rack" icon (not the preset) into session view hoping for an empty rack, the same chopped looped samples keep automatically loading instead of 128 empty sample slots. I tried deleting a rack preset by the same name, and it's hard to identify the sample content since they are sliced and unnamed(which I thought might be another way to get rid of the problem). I tried deleting the samples manually on the rack and saving it too, no avail. Is there a way to reverse this? I have to manually delete the slices every time I open a default drum rack.

Thanks in advance.

Just drag a Drum Rack, delete all the samples at slots. Then right click on the device name and choose Save as Default Preset".
