possibility to reduce starttime of live?

is there a possibility to reduce starttime of live?
it takes about 5 min to scan the plugins every time.

Do you have shortcuts to other folders in your main VST folder?
I've found that this causes very slow startup.

I now have all my VSTs in C:\VstPlugins and it starts up at a reasonable speed.

hey, you are right. after changing it & starting a second time live starts very fast. really strange.
