Sure, go ahead. Knock yourself out.

Are you sure? 'cause I'd better warn you. I won't be pampering your ego.
Keaton always said, "I don't believe in God, but I'm afraid of him." Well I believe in God, and the only thing that scares me is Keyser Soze.

Based on the reaction, I think you should consider wearing green lipstick in the future-- it is very eye-catching.

Also, I was disappointed that your gear wasn't decorated along these lines:

That's fine, I likely won't read it.

ha! Now that's an idea for my next gig. And since my gig prior to this was in 2008, with that pace, that leaves me plenty of time for my smashing 2012 return!

 Knock yourself out. Have a blast. Do what you do. In fact, please take copious amounts of time, and take yourself way more seriously than I do.

So you do want my opinion then and it looks like you really will read it. Are you absolutely sure?

I'm absolutely sure that we should keep debating this so that the Hey Look At Me thread stays at the top of the lounge.

I can't wait. I'm going to do a pre-emptive review of Keyser Soze:

After reading this letter, you will never again be able to trust Mr. Keyser Soze and you will see with crystal clarity the way that it's not uncommon for him to speak with authority on subjects he clearly knows nothing about. Wait! Before you dismiss me as effrontive, hear me out. A good friend of mine once said that we should all complain about crafty smear merchants (especially the revolting type). Amen to that! In fact, I even informed my friend that Soze's maudlin preoccupation with jujuism, usually sicklied over with such nonsense words as "crystallographically", would make sense if a person's honor were determined strictly by his or her ability to turn public education into a fuzzy, soft, mushy, touchy-feely experience whose purpose is socialization, not learning. As that's not the case, we can conclude only that Soze keeps telling us that he knows 100% of everything 100% of the time. Are we also supposed to believe that coercion in the name of liberty is a valid use of state power? I didn't think so.

Soze's followers have the gall to accuse me of creating a system of negativism characterized by confidential files, closed courts, gag orders, and statutory immunity. Were these crazy guttersnipes born without a self-awareness gene? Well, you don't need Sherlock Holmes to solve that mystery. Heck, you probably don't even need Scooby Doo. Neverthess, let me remind you that Soze is unable to see any issue in a broad perspective or from more than one side. If you doubt this, just ask around. I have always been earnest and emphatic—and even enthusiastic—in putting to rest the animosities that have kept various groups of people from enjoying anything other than superficial unity. Only a true-blue gutless, obscene enemy of the people or one who is totally clueless about irrationalism could claim otherwise.

Soze claims that he is the arbiter of all things. Sound suspicious? Damnable is a better word. In such a brief letter as this, I certainly cannot refute all the invectives of bestial, gormless cheapjacks but perhaps I can brush away some of their most deliberate and flagrant convictions. Perhaps if he thought about it, he'd realize that I've heard him say that everyone who doesn't share his beliefs is a malignant junky deserving of death and damnation. Was that just a slip of the lip, or is Soze secretly trying to insult the intelligence, interests, and life plans of whole groups of people? It would take days to give the complete answer to that question but the gist of it is that it is not uncommon for Soze to victimize the innocent, penalize the victim for making any effort to defend himself, and then paint the whole intolerant affair as some great benefit to humanity. A final note: Mr. Keyser Soze's demonic proposed social programs cater to the lowest common denominator.

he says he's Keyser Soze, but then we realise it's Kevin Spacey faking a limp.

nebulae wrote:Ok, let's set the record straight. The pick is a green pick in my mouth, held there whilst I was masturbating the BCR in the middle of the set. Needless to say, the pick was used shortly thereafter. But it is not lipstick!

The shirt was purchased 15 years ago at Macy's in NYC for $10 off a discount rack. It is shiny green, not silver. And underneath it, I sweat like a desert banshee. It's not pretty.

Anyways, as a result of the feature, today, I've got the #1 song on Uvumi: http://www.uvumi.com/#charts/2010-08-24 and interestingly, it's one of my more experimental pieces - all the sounds come out of a bass. Not that I play bass very well...let's just say that judicial use of Sampler was heavily necessary.

Ok, now please continue making fun of my lipstick. *hugs*
I realize that I was way wrong. #1 song? That green pick has got to be:

THE PICK OF DESTINY!!

Where'd you find it? I thought Eddie Van Halen had it last . . .

#1 on the charts! Nice going Nebby! I never heard of uvumi before this thread, but to be the #1 artist on any list is impressive.
But look out, word on the street is that when MikeMC's remix of "The Dream of Loopstationzebra" drops its going to rocket to #1.
