Ableton Session Corrupt!

Hi folks,

I was working on an Ableton session today (vers 8.1.1), working with some samples in a couple of drum racks, moving samples around etc, and then Ableton suddenly said it had to close! When I re-opened Ableton it asked me did I want to recover the session I was working on, I said Yes, but nothing happened and it timed out. After I restarted my MacBook Pro, and tried to open the session and I get the following error message:

"The document "/Ableton Sets/Biorhythm Project/Biorhythm White Noise.als" is corrupt. [Track grouping corrupt]"

And it wont open. Has anyone seen this before? Or does anyone know how to fix? (I've lost a lot of work!)

I've heard that Ableton support can fix these right up. Try contacting them. I think you'll be glad you did...

Yeah sent the .als file into them and they returned a fixed version very quickly. Unfortunately, I mustn't have saved it for a very long time as most of my work was still gone. Thanks for the suggestion...
