Yeah, I totally get that. Its also a big reason why this whole thing isn't for sale.
First is the fact you got almost the same thing for free with LiveControl. Second is the lack of a MFL runtime. And lastly, it wouldn't just work for everybody because its customized to a single persons needs.

Its a nice option to have though. MFL might not be appealing if you don't know Max and how the API works, but if you do its really fun and quick to tweak features to your liking.
And the offset of the Step Sequencers is so small, I can't even measure it. In Live it looks like 1/100th of 1/16384th at 120 bpm (smallest grid Live will display).

And nobody says we can't collaborate. I'll release the Key and Drumpad devices for free soon for MFL users. Nothing is stopping people from using LiveControl and MFL together.

As for usine being more powerful. That may be so. Never used the app. And I'm fine with the touch screen I have now. Going back to dual touch just wouldn't work with the workflow I'm used to.

yeah sure i hope all api tweakers would collaborate to bring out best live controls,
(including abes).

Max allows for sure very accurate an precise things for dsp/sequencer stuff,
and recently mathieu Champagne multitouch framework for ipad seems to create a
nice link to ipad, as well at this one, but i was really suprprise of the time it took to
see descent touch interface out of it, we even don't actually see ableton touch screen controllers avaible, whereas M4L is out from a while now.. a bit surprised

just hope the new birth of multi touch interface will make the abes focus a bit
more on live Api/osc, not max exclusive. i got nothing against max but just want
abes to consider alternatives, generally much cheaper..
still i got too look deeper in M4L....

I've read this twice now. Is there some evidence this is fake or something, or just the delay causing a lash back?

It's the fact that:

a. No one from this forum has beta tested or seen the thing in person.

b. The creators have listed certain people who have supposedly tested this thing. They've done so in a way that we're supposed to know who these people are, but nobody has heard of them.

c. Faking videos is incredibly easy if you know what you are doing. I could create an amazing After Effects clip in which my cock grows from it's usual 9 inches into a 6' tall DJ that plays nothing but hot white trash.


My guess? They've created a lot of hype here, but in about a week we're going to see:
