nativekontrol apc40 mod

Hi!

I recently got an apc40 and allthough the basic functionality is great, is has a lot of unused potential.
Browsing the web I stumbled across the Bone midi translator (mt player)/remap bundles done by this guy called stray over at www.nativekontrol.com and they seem amazing. He does charge you for them so before I buy I'd like to know if anyone has experience with them?
As far as I understand you get up to 12 additional modes ranging from drum pads to scale midi note, chords, sequencers depending on what remap-pack you buy...

I can vouch for this one. When I 1st bought the APC40, I was a bit disappointed with the default functions.
Then the world of music productivity opened up with Stray's CL3 presets.
Now I can record and edit without really touching the computer.
Peep his YouTube footage on the APC40 and Launchpad.
No need for a midi keyboard to play note or trigger drums, you can even chop audio and midi clips.

To be able to produce a track with just Ableton and an APC or Launchpad is so cool!

Can't wait till it's fully functional with the Bridge for a Live performance.

I got the CL2+TC2 package and now use the CL3+TC3 beta which u can read about on the nativekontrol forum. It adds a hell of a lot to the apc40 and Stray is good with support and listening to his customers, I've had a number of feature requests I asked for added. I haven't got VC1 so won't comment on it. The difference having the extra clip and track modes has made the purchase well worth it. I've got control over so much now that I hardly use my other controllers. If theres something else u want the apc40 to do, this mode probably does it already and if not Stray is quick to implement requests when possible. Get it, its worth it. Only real question is CL2+TC2 (then ask for CL3+TC3 beta) or package 2 which also has VC1?

Thanks for the input. I did get the cl2-tc2 package, and also the beta of cl3-tc3. Totally awesome!!! I love the new drum sequencer and the clip move stuff.
I can basically sell my lpd8 and lpk25 now so getting this mapping actually made me money, not the other way around
For anyone else considering this, it's a no brainer. 50 bucks is a bargain that will make your apc40 truly shine.
