TouchAble - complete controller for Ableton Live & IPAD

Alright got that sorted.

Then it connected and I had an empty set and nothing on the iPad was moving anything. So I open a song and start touching things on the iPad but nothing seems to have any effect, or connectible effect I should say because the song is just generally going ape shit. So I thought the problem might be I need to quit touchAble on the iPad and restart, but when I do that and hit connect the colorful Ableton logo keeps going forever and never connects.

OK now on like my 10th attempt it connects, supposedly, because there's no clips on the iPad and none of the controls are having any kind of effect, well that's not entirely true. The faders are having an effect sometimes. And the only other thing that's letting me know it's communicating is my track names are at the top of each track, but again, no clips are showing, just a big black box in that area.

Restarting TouchAble and it's not connecting again...

Finally got this app.
Looks very cool and to my eyes GUI is better than touchOSC,
which I used a lot prior to this one.
Latency is very low.
Many thanks to devs. Keep up good work!

One last update and then I'm off to bed. I went to see if things would work in reverse, meaning if I did things on the computer would the iPad update. When I launched a clip one would magically appear on the iPad (with no text labeling) and the meter and volume adjustment would work sporadically. Worse yet when I clicked a clip in another track Live would temporarily freeze and then the TouchAble computer app would crash....every time I a played a clip in a different track.

Alright, my beta testing report is done. Time for bed.

Your registration aggreement is so long that it is cut off at the botom and can not select / the checkbox.

Edit : is not limited to the registration page. Think your whole forum template has a problem with the ipad. Bottom part of all screens truncated.

NM. Had it in the "Live" folder and needed to be in the application roots. Got it.

Ok, triple checked ip, subnet mask, etc, and can't get to connect. Taking a break for a bit see if anyone else has issue.

you should get it, there is no reason you can't connect, something sounds wrong in your settings, please contact [email protected] with detailed informations.

But first follow the steps again, screenshots should help you:
