Tiger Audio/MIDI... f*cking incredible!

Post by hambone1 » Sat May 07, 2005 10:00 am

Can't believe what this can do.. MIDI networking via Ethernet.. sharing a hardware interface without Rewire.. using multiple hardware interfaces.. ultra-low latency performance.. etc..

Bet Adamjay hasn't slept in a week!

Using ethernet cable between Powerbook and desktop.. no wireless in the desktop.. yet!

I'm sure others will be Airporting, though.. wireless MIDI! Reliability to be confirmed..:D

anyone know what's up with the aulooper that's new in Tiger (on the xtools install).

I can't tell if it's meant to be used or not.

Doesn't seem quite as cool as the musolomo but I'm curious.

as an aside...anybody able to network Tiger with a OS 9 machine?

wireless midi over here between two laptops. great fun.

i suspect that firewire would be a better medium though for studio work.
