simple audio routing issue

Post by dinotelba » Sat Sep 04, 2010 11:45 am

Hi, I'm trying to have two audio tracks sharing the same effect rack without adding any send or audio track. I try sending the output of track 1 to track 2 (the one hosting the effect rack) but I don't get any signal on it.

Hi,
Off the top of my head (not at workstation), Put track 2 to Auto (monitoring) and arm record.
Send track 1 to track 2.

HTH.

Thanks Rinsemeister and ShelLuser,

I think I will go with the copy solution then.

The reason why I don't want another send is that I have 8 tracks in my set (including a send and the master) and prefer to keep it that way if possible as it's easier to control with the 8 track configuration of the novation slmkII (Master is always the 8th fader etc.)
