I love Ableton Live because it's so easy to actualize...

"I love Ableton Live because it's so easy to actualize an idea quickly and accurately"

Jakob Thiele.

Yeah , specially when trying to do smooth curves automations.

I know most of my inspiration comes from dealing with automation curves.

Really, I think the cornerstone of any truly actualized piece of music is the subtlety and nuance afforded by the use of curved automation.

In many ways, it makes linear automation look like the trackmarks on puppy-kicking Nazi junkie trash.

Linear automation tried to mouthrape me when I slept over at its house.

I've never been able to finish a tune without curved automation.

Linear automation killed Jimmy Hoffa. And President Kennedy.

Linear automation killed Kennedy WITH Hoffa. Then pinned it on Oswald.

But all that aside, I don't really mind linear automation that much. Curves would be nice, but of all the things that could be tweaked or upgraded, that's relatively low on the list for me.

linear automation bombed the twin towers, and it's a cia agent.

plus, it's going to kill prince harry at some point during the next decade or so (he's so clearly not a member of the royals that they can't risk him being king)

linear automation is genetically modifying food and introducing it to the agri stock in Europe.

In short, linear automation is a c*nt.

Bring on the bezier!
I slipped into a daze, whilst I was there I heard the most startling music, it was at once familiar and alien, reassuring and unsettling.

Why does techno suck in '10?

Must be all these Ableton users and their linear automation...

Absolutely. Sequencers in the early days had some wicked automation curves.

If you really need curved automation I know a guy in the south side but it'll cost ya a pretty penny.
I'd make sure to use it moderately too, as I've lost a few good friends back in the day who just couldn't handle it.
