Most things I want are on the big list. Some to emphasise, some to add:
- smooth envelope/automation curves (drawable and waveform-selectable)
- reverse in impulse and simpler
- 'slice to separate channels' from impulse and drum rack instruments - so you can programme or play in a rhythm/beat/whatever all 'together' visually then break it out, keeping timings and velocities, to process the hits/sounds individually
- midi chord templates
- Gforce vsts to work (actually, I haven't tried again in the latest version...)
Now this is a bit 'bigger'...
- I want a visual mix tool so you can see, on 'y' axis the position/spread of selected channels/instruments/master output in terms of frequency, on x-axis the stereo field position/spread, maybe even z-axis = 'presence'. Step 1 (useful enough) would be to see it mapped visually and respond real-time to tweaks - although to my mind it doesn't have to be absolutely precise as clarity/usability is the key - I'm talking blocks rather than spectral stuff; Step 2 (absolute genius) is to map at least the x-axis to effects so you can use the tool to control (stretch/shift/process) the sounds themselves.
Anyone can have this last idea, as long as they do it well and give me credit.
