setting up MPD26 to ableton

g'day, i just got my MPD26 and it came bundled with Ableton Live Lite, im trying to do a dump from ableton to my MPD26 but the button is greyed out and im unable to do a dump right to my controller, i also cannot link each part on the MPD manually using the MIDI button on the interface, and i have set it up correctly in the preferences, so basically what im asking is how in the world do i dump controller data to my MPD26 to make it work? as i really dont want to have to do everything manually, cheers

Hello,

at the moment there is no MPD26 script included in Live AFAIK.
Have you tried the MPD24 remote script?

Preset 1 on your MPD should be preconfigured for Ableton Live.

well when i set it up i just put it under the MPD24 control surface property since it's pretty much the same, and the input and outputs detects as MPD26.

unfortunately the preset 1 on my MPD doesnt not trigger any functions on ableton live, ableton does however receive the signal, but i cannot assign any of it to anything at all, even using the MIDI key assignment button, so now i am stuck :/, any help would be greatly appreaciated

At least in the factory preset documentation of the MPD26 it is preset 1:

It might be different on the MPD24, though.

Unfortunately we don't have a MPD26 in house for testing. But we try to get one asap.
